Want to know what it’s like to work for Level?

Applications for our Social Justice Program Manager role are still open until March 18, 2022! Want to know what it’s like to work for Level? Our Senior Program Manager, Caitlin MacDonald, shares her experience:

“I’ve worked for Level for over 2.5 years and I feel very lucky to be part of a growing organization where collaboration, creativity and passion are valued.

I really enjoy the work I do at Level because I have a lot of autonomy and responsibility over the programs I manage but I also feel really supported by the organization in everything I do. I find this job so rewarding because I get to witness first-hand the impact I'm having on building a more equitable justice system. Whenever I get the chance to sit in on one of our IYOP sessions, I’m always blown away by the conversations students are having with Program Facilitators and Volunteers. Getting to see young people envision a more just and equitable legal system gives me so much hope for the future. It’s also really amazing to see students developing a passion for the law through activities like the Mock Trial and Sentencing Circle. It’s not every job where you get to see this kind of change happen right in front of your eyes and I’m so grateful for that.

We’re a small team but we really value teamwork and have a real passion for making the justice system more equitable. I feel so inspired by the work we do. If you’re a someone who is collaborative and passionate about social justice, then you will love working for Level too!"
