Windsor Law Hosts A Level Justice Info Session

On January 29th and 30th, Level was invited by The University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law to participate in the Justice at Work (JAW) Conference and deliver an informational session on our law student programming for all Windsor law students. The JAW Conference provides an opportunity for law students to learn from leaders in the public interest arena, and is designed to illustrate pathways law students may pursue to attain legal careers that advance social justice.

Social Justice Fellows from Windsor Law, Kosheen Mehndi Ratta and Reilly Norman, speak to their experiences about the Social Justice Fellowship Program (SJFP).

Level Justice’s Social Justice Program Manager, Fatima Ahmed, delivered the info session on Level’s law student programs, the Social Justice Fellowship Program (SJFP) and the Blazing Trails Mentorship Program (BTMP). The info session outlined overviews of the programs, a breakdown of what to expect, how to craft a successful application, and more. It is geared towards setting up potential program participants for success.

Attendants at the info session delivered to the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor get involved by asking questions and starting discussions.

The session was a wonderful way for Level to engage with the Faculty of Law, to bring opportunities to the student population, and to demystify program involvement. We’d like to thank Windsor’s Faculty of Law and the Career Service Office for the invitation as well as assisting with the session.
