Level Seeks New Executive Director

Level is looking to hire a full-time Executive Director to lead the organization through its next phase of growth and development across Canada. The Executive Director reports directly to Level’s Board of Directors and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s operations and executing its five-year Strategic Plan.

The role will be vacant following the departure of Level's current Executive Director, Brittany Twiss, who has been at the helm of the organization since August 2013:

It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my resignation as Level’s Executive Director, effective February 28, 2019. My experience as Level’s ED for the past five years has been nothing short of outstanding. I am beyond grateful to Level’s amazing staff, volunteers, Board of Directors, funders, and partners for your confidence in our small, but ambitious team. Thank you especially to the Indigenous Elders and mentors, and thousands of youth, who have (and will continue to) challenge me every day to be a better ally in the fight against injustice. It has been an honour to learn from and with you. While this is a difficult decision for me, I believe that Level is in an excellent position for a new leader to elevate its important work and impacts to new heights. This is a great opportunity to join the access to justice movement in Canada and an exciting time for Level.” - Brittany Twiss

Level’s head office is located in Toronto at the vibrant Centre for Social Innovation, 720 Bathurst Street.

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. EST on February 8, 2019. Apply now!
