About Level

Founded in 2005, Level is a Canadian charitable organization that aims to level the playing field and increase access to justice for marginalized populations worldwide through education and mentorship. We work with Canada’s legal community to address human rights and access to justice challenges in our communities through research, advocacy and public legal education.

In 2012, Level created “Dare to Dream,” a specialized justice education program for First Nation, Métis and Inuit youth that aims to increase students’ knowledge about the justice system in a fun and positive way, while at the same time building their confidence, leadership skills, and knowledge about career opportunities in the legal field. The program, which is now being delivered in Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta, is celebrated for breaking down barriers between Indigenous communities and the justice sector, and promoting respect for diversity by raising awareness of Indigenous histories, cultures and traditions.

Level’s head office is located in the vibrant Centre for Social Innovation, 215 Spadina Avenue, Suite 436, Toronto, ON, M5T 2C7. Our office environment is fast-paced, entrepreneurial and results oriented. We care about each other and about making a real difference in our communities – one project and person at a time.
