Level Funding Announcements

Level is excited to announce two funding partners who have joined our mission to disrupt prejudice, build empathy and advance human rights! The Peter Gilgan Foundation and the Manitoba Law Foundation have committed their support to help us empower law students, lawyers and Indigenous youth to change the face of the justice system:

  • The Peter Gilgan Foundation has continued its relationship with Level, and has contributed $100,000 in support of our justice education and mentorship for First Nations, Métis and Inuit youth as well as Human Rights Research and Advocacy programming with law students and lawyers.

  • The Manitoba Law Foundation joins Level in supporting and empowering Indigenous youth in Manitoba through our Indigenous Youth Outreach Program (IYOP) with a grant of $7,100. This funding will specifically support IYOP in Winnipeg and an expansion to Fisher River First Nation.
