Each year our Level Campus Chapters choose an annual human rights theme that highlights a current pressing legal and social challenge. This year, our theme was ‘Courts of the People’ and our Student Chapters were tasked with mobilizing students across the country in discussions on the importance of access to justice.
As part of their Chapter’s activities for this year, our Level Student Chapter at the Université de Montréal opened a call for applications for article submissions to their annual journal. Students from law schools across the country submitted opinion articles, academic papers and essays on a range of topics addressing the overall theme of access to justice. We were overwhelmed with the quality of the submissions and are so pleased to be able to support the talented students who submit their work to this journal every year!
We are also extremely grateful to the students from our U de M Campus Chapter who put hours of work into reviewing and editing this incredible journal. In particular we would like to thank Mathilde Romano, Chapter President as well as Ophélie Vincent and Anne-Charlotte Carignan for the hard work they put into creating this publication!
