Black Youth Justice Program

Jeff  Rogers is currently a second-year law student at Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law. He is the Community Liaison for Dalhousie’s Black Law Student Association. He studied at Bishop's University where he graduated with a dual academic background. He has traversed various regions of Canada, accumulating diverse experiences that have enriched his perspectives on life. Jeff is born and raised in North End Halifax/Dartmouth and connected to the greater African Nova Scotian community. He enjoys seeking input, feedback, and collaboration from community members. He feels a sense of duty to connect with his roots and to serve as a bridge between the justice system and the surrounding community.

Jeff loves coaching and mentoring youth, as well as playing sports, exercising, and exploring the outdoors in his spare time.
