JAMES GAUME

Indigenous Youth Outreach Program
James Gaume is currently pursuing a JD at the University of Alberta and is the recipient of the A. David R. Percy Q.C. Award in Law. James holds an honours undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Calgary.
James is very passionate about his work and has a strong commitment to youth empowerment and breaking down access to justice barriers. He has been actively engaged in various youth organization efforts including Red Deer Minor Hockey, Taking Strides Children’s Foundation and Olds Grizzlys Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club. James started his journey with Level because he wants to promote more equitable justice systems, both locally and on a global scale.
Outside of school and working with youth, James enjoys being active and engaged with his local community. He runs as well as plays hockey and golf. James can’t wait to see where his time in school and working with Level will take him in the future.
