Fallon Melander is Anishinaabe, a mother, a wife, a travel enthusiast and a member of the Wikwemikoong Unceeded Territory on Manitoulin Island, Ontario. She completed her B.A. at the University of Western Ontario and her LL.B. at the University of Ottawa.

From 2011-2019 Fallon was lead Policy Counsel for Legal Aid Ontario’s Aboriginal Justice Strategy. She then worked at Metrolinx where she created its first Indigenous Relations team and program. She currently works at Sheridan College with the Centre for Indigenous Learning and Support.
