Anti-Oppression and the Law: A Free Online Training Event

Level Justice is honored to invite you to its free online training event: Anti-Oppression and the Law. Power, oppression, and the law share a long and closely entwined history. It is no secret that the law has continuously been used as a tool for the exertion of power and oppression. As such, lawyers and the legal sector in general, have a higher responsibility to unlearn the oppressional practices of the field and actively practice anti-oppressive approaches and practices. This free online training is specifically catered for those curious about learning the distinct connections between power, oppression, and the law; how to identify them; as well as how to unlearn them in theory and practice by enacting practical solutions in their work.

This event is registered with the Law Society of Ontario for 1.5 CPD hours.
