BRITTANY TWISS
Director
Brittany is the Assistant Dean, JD Program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, a position she has held since September 2021. In this role, Brittany supports the Faculty's seven public interest programs and clinics and the JD Student Services team, including financial aid, admissions, mental health and wellness, Indigenous Initiatives, and career development. She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law (J.D. 2011) and Queen's University (BA Hons. 2008).
After law school, Brittany articled and practiced family law at a boutique litigation firm in Toronto. In 2013, she was appointed Executive Director of Level, where she spent five years developing justice education and human rights programming with Indigenous communities in Canada. From 2019-2021, Brittany was the National Director of Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), the largest pro bono organization in Canada, which was founded at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
