Brittany is a graduate from Queen’s University and holds a J.D. with a specialization in Social Justice from the University of Ottawa. She has volunteered and worked as a human rights advocate in Tanzania, Thailand, Peru and the United Kingdom, with a focus on gender based violence, sexual exploitation and access to justice for women and children.

Following law school, Brittany joined a prominent family law litigation firm in Toronto, where she represented clients in high conflict cases at all levels of court in Canada. She has been involved with Level since 2009, and was appointed Executive Director in August 2013.

Brittany also assists refugees and their families as a pro bono lawyer in Toronto.
