VICTORY ADEOSUN

Fellow

Victory Adeosun is currently on a path towards becoming a Juris Doctor Candidate at the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law, with plans to graduate in 2025. Her journey into the world of law commenced earlier at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she earned a BSW degree.

Her belief in justice extends far beyond the classroom, as she has actively immersed herself in communities through various roles, including that of a Youth Engagement Coordinator and social worker. These experiences have provided her with a firsthand understanding of the challenges individuals face, especially those from marginalized backgrounds.

As she continues on my legal journey, her goal is not only to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the intricacies of the legal system but also to strive for justice that is accessible to all. Her involvement with school associations such as the Women of Colour Legal Alliance and the Black Law Student Association Windsor underscores her unwavering dedication to addressing systemic issues that can hinder access to justice.

In a world where law and justice are essential for maintaining a just and equitable society, she aspires to stand as a beacon of hope, committed to using her legal education to advocate for those in need.

When she is not in the classroom, you can catch her at a local ice cream shop.

Victory is excited to be a part of the 2023-2024 Social Justice Fellowship Program.
